How we help

Why New Energy Teams Choose YiguProto

Outdoor equipment lives with rain, heat, vibration and high voltage. We manufacture to your design, check every critical dimension, and ship parts that hold up for years.

Sealed & Protected

We machine flat sealing surfaces and control wall thickness, so enclosures pass leak and spray tests.

Thermal Know-How

Cold plates and heat sinks need clean channels and flat contact faces. We machine both to spec.

Lightweight Builds

Every gram saved is range or capacity gained. We help you cut weight without losing strength.

One Partner, Four Processes

Machining, printing, molding and sheet metal in one place. Fewer vendors, fewer delays.

Solution 01 · CNC Machining

CNC Machining for New Energy Systems

Most structural new energy parts are machined from aluminum and copper. We cut battery trays, motor housings, cold plates and bus bars from solid stock, so strength, flatness and hole positions stay exact batch after batch.

Battery Enclosures & Trays

Trays, covers and end plates in 6061-T6 and 7075, with flat mating faces that seal to IP67.

Motor & Drivetrain Housings

Housings, end shields and shafts with bores and fits held to your drawing.

Cold Plates & Heat Sinks

Cooling plates, fin arrays and chassis parts that keep power electronics at temperature.

Solution 02 · 3D Printing

3D Printing for New Energy

New energy designs change fast. 3D printing puts prototypes in your hands in days — no tooling, no minimum order. Test-fit an enclosure, check airflow around a heat sink, or print working parts for a pilot system.

Enclosure & Mount Prototypes

Print trays, covers and brackets to your geometry for real fit checks on the vehicle or cabinet.

Jigs, Fixtures & Assembly Aids

Custom jigs and fixtures that make battery module assembly faster, safer and more repeatable.

Functional Polymer Parts

Nylon, glass-filled nylon and PC parts strong enough for pilots and low-volume use.

Best forPrototypes, fit checks, jigs and fixtures, and complex shapes
ProcessesFDM, SLA, SLS, MJF and SLM metal printing
MaterialsPLA and PETG for quick checks; nylon, glass-filled nylon and PC for functional parts; TPU for gaskets and pads; AlSi10Mg for metal brackets

Solution 03 · Injection Molding

Injection Molding for New Energy

When your design goes into volume, molded plastic parts cost less per piece and keep quality steady. We mold connector housings, insulating covers, cable clips and seals in engineering plastics that handle heat, voltage and weather.

Connector & Insulator Housings

PA66, PBT, PPS and PC housings that keep high voltage safely insulated.

Seals, Gaskets & Over-molding

TPE and TPU seals, over-molded onto rigid parts for a tight, lasting fit.

Clips, Covers & Small Parts

Cable clips, vent covers, doors and fasteners molded in volume.

Best forHousings, insulators, seals, clips and small plastic parts in volume
ProcessesRapid tooling, production molds, over-molding, insert molding
MaterialsPA66 GF30, PBT, PPS, PC, ABS, PEEK, TPE, TPU
ToolingAluminum bridge tooling for pilots; hardened steel molds for production
QuantitiesFrom pilot runs to volume production
TurnaroundPrototype parts in days; production timing follows the tooling build

Solution 04 · Sheet Metal

Sheet Metal Fabrication for New Energy

Sheet metal builds the cabinets and frames around the system. We laser-cut, bend and weld aluminum, stainless and steel into charging station cabinets, storage racks and PV mounting frames — no tooling needed for prototypes.

Cabinets & Racks

Charging station cabinets and storage system racks, formed and welded to drawing.

Mounting Brackets & Frames

PV brackets, tracker parts and equipment mounts built for outdoor life.

Covers, Vents & Panels

Ventilated covers, access panels and bottom plates with clean bends and holes.

Best forCabinets, racks, brackets, covers and formed panels
ProcessesLaser cutting, CNC bending, punching, welding and assembly
MaterialsAluminum 5052 / 6061, stainless steel 304 / 316, steel
Surface finishPowder coating, anodizing, chromate conversion, e-coating
QuantitiesSingle units to volume — laser-cut parts need no tooling

How we work

From File to Field — Five Clear Steps

You always know where your project stands. Here is the path most new energy projects follow with us:

Share your files

Send 2D drawings or 3D models (STEP, STP, IGES, STL). Tell us the application, the quantity and the conditions the part must survive.

Free DFM review & quote

Our engineers review the design and return a quote within 24 hours, with feedback on material, sealing and cost.

First article

We make a first sample and run dimensional checks, including sealing-surface flatness. You approve fit and finish before the rest are made.

Pilot run

We confirm the process with a small batch. Design, material or finish changes happen here — while change is still cheap.

Production & delivery

We scale up with stable quality and on-time delivery. Inspection reports travel with every batch.

Quality & Trust

Quality You Can Verify

Good parts are proven, not promised. Our quality system checks every stage, so your parts seal, fit and last in the field.

Incoming Material Control

Material certificates for every lot of aluminum, copper and steel.

First Article Inspection

Full dimensional checks on the first piece, including sealing-surface flatness.

In-Process Checks

Operators verify wall thickness, hole positions and finish during the run.

Final Reports & Traceability

Dimensional and inspection reports with every order. Lot traceability on request. Your files stay confidential.

Materials & Finishes

Built from the Right Stuff

Material and finish decide how a part handles load, heat, weather and voltage. Tell us the application, and we will suggest a grade that fits your design and budget.

Aluminum & Copper

Aluminum 6061, 7075 and 5052 for structure; C110 copper for bus bars and contacts, plated for low resistance.

Battery enclosures and trays, EV motor and drivetrain housings, inverter chassis and cold plates, bus bars and copper contacts, charging station parts, energy storage cabinets, solar and wind components, and insulating plastic housings. We build them with CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding and sheet metal fabrication.
Send your drawings or 3D files. Most quotes come back within a few hours on business days, never more than 24 hours.
There is no strict MOQ. We make one prototype for a bench test, small batches for pilot systems, and full production runs for product lines.
Structural metal parts — trays, housings, bus bars — fit CNC machining. Prototypes, jigs and pilot parts fit 3D printing. Insulator housings, seals and clips in volume fit injection molding. Cabinets, racks and brackets fit sheet metal. Send your file and our engineers recommend the best route for free.

Yes. We machine flat sealing surfaces, control wall thickness and position mounting holes carefully, then run first article inspection before the batch starts. We can also advise on gasket groove design during the free DFM review.
Printed and machined prototypes often ship in 1 to 3 days. Sheet metal prototypes usually take a few extra days because of bending and welding. Your quote shows the real timing for your part.
Yes. Many customers start with one printed or machined sample, then move to a pilot run, then ramp to volume with the same drawings and the same quality checks. We keep the process stable across every stage.
We hold tight fits and flatness on sealing surfaces, and confirm what is achievable during the DFM review. Every order can ship with dimensional inspection reports, and material certificates come with each lot.
We inspect incoming material, run first article and in-process checks, and provide reports with every order. Lot traceability is available on request. All customer files and designs are confidential, and we sign NDAs on request.
