Surface finish
Tumbling mass-finishes parts in a rotating or vibrating media. It deburrs, smooths, and polishes many parts at once.
What it is
Tumbling places parts with abrasive media in a rotating barrel or vibrating bowl. As they tumble, the media rubs away burrs and sharp edges. It is a cheap way to finish large batches at once. It can deburr, smooth, or burnish to a soft shine.
