The Problem We Solve

Why Resin Printing Projects Go Wrong

These are the problems buyers tell us about every week. Here is how we take each one off your desk.

Rough, Layered Parts

Visible layer lines make a prototype look cheap in front of your client. SLA gives a smooth surface that looks close to a molded part.

Fine Details Lost

Small text, thin ribs, and tiny snaps vanish on low-end printers. Our lasers hold features down to 0.07 mm.

Parts Warp or Crack

Bad supports and no post-cure leave parts weak and bent. We control orientation, supports, and UV curing for stable parts.

Wrong Resin, Wrong Feel

Clear parts that turn cloudy, or soft parts that snap. We match the resin to your job so it looks and acts right.

Slow, Vague Quotes

Waiting days for a price kills your timeline. Send your files and get a clear, itemized quote within 24 hours.

Files Not Kept Safe

Your design is your business. We treat every file as confidential, sign NDAs on request, and never share your data.

Overview

What Is SLA 3D Printing?

A precise way to turn a 3D model into a smooth resin part — no tooling needed.

How It Works in Plain Words

A tank holds liquid resin that hardens under UV light. A laser draws the shape of the first layer, and the resin turns solid. The build platform moves down a tiny step, and the laser draws the next layer. This repeats until the part is done.

Then we clean off the wet resin, cut away the supports, and bake the part in a UV oven. That final cure gives the resin its full strength and keeps the size stable.

When to Choose SLA

  • Smooth surfaces — parts that look like molded plastic
  • Fine detail — small text, thin walls, and tiny features
  • Clear parts — light pipes, lenses, and see-through covers
  • Visual prototypes — models for trade shows and client sign-off
  • Form and fit checks — parts that must drop into an assembly
  • Master patterns — masters for silicone casting and investment casting

Precision Options

Pick the Resolution That Fits Your Part

Finer layers mean smoother parts and finer detail. We help you balance quality and cost.

LAYER 0.10 mm · FAST & ECONOMICAL

Normal Resolution

Our standard mode. Good detail and a smooth surface at the best price. Ideal for most prototypes and larger parts.

LAYER 0.05 mm · MOST POPULAR

High Resolution

Finer layers for a smoother surface and crisper features. The go-to choice for cosmetic and snap-fit parts.

LAYER 0.025 mm · FINEST DETAIL

Micro Resolution

Our finest mode for very small parts. Holds features down to 0.07 mm for tiny parts and micro features.

A durable, all-purpose resin that feels like molded ABS. The top pick for functional prototypes and large parts.

HDT UP TO 250°C

PC-Like & High Temp

Strong and stiff with high heat resistance. Good for under-hood parts and hot environments.

CLEAR & TRANSLUCENT

Clear Resin

Near-colorless parts that polish to high clarity. Great for lenses, light pipes, and flow models.

TOUGH & FLEXIBLE

Specialty Resins

Tough grades for snap-fits and impact parts, plus flexible grades for rubber-like parts.

Surface Finishes

Finishes That Match Your Real Product

Pick a look and we copy it — from raw print to high gloss.

Unfinished

Straight off the printer with support marks on the underside. Fastest and lowest cost.

Design Tips

Design Tips for Better SLA Parts

Small changes in your CAD cut cost and improve quality. We check all of these for free.

Think About Orientation

Where supports touch leaves small marks. Tell us which faces must stay perfect and we plan around them.

Keep Walls at 0.8 mm+

Walls thinner than 0.8 mm can warp or break. Thicker is safer for large flat areas.

Add Drain Holes

Hollow parts need holes so wet resin can escape. We help place them in hidden spots.

Avoid Big Flat Areas

Large flat faces can curl. Adding a slight curve or ribs keeps the part straight.

Round the Corners

Sharp inner corners trap stress. A small fillet makes the part stronger and easier to print.

Remember Shrinkage

Resin shrinks a little as it cures. We scale the model to keep key dimensions on target.

FAQ

SLA 3D Printing — Frequently Asked Questions

SLA stands for stereolithography. A UV laser cures liquid photopolymer resin, one thin layer at a time, into a solid part. It is one of the oldest 3D printing methods and still one of the most accurate. It gives smooth surfaces and very fine detail, close to a molded plastic part.
FDM melts plastic filament through a nozzle and shows visible layer lines. SLA cures liquid resin with a laser, so parts are much smoother and hold finer detail. Choose SLA for looks and precision. Choose FDM for large, low-cost, strong parts.
Standard accuracy is about ±0.2%, with a lower limit of ±0.2 mm. In X and Y we hold ±0.1 mm plus ±0.001 mm per mm, and in Z about ±0.13 mm plus ±0.001 mm per mm. Layer thickness is 0.1 mm as standard, down to 0.05 mm or 0.025 mm for very fine detail.
Our standard build envelope is up to 736 x 635 x 533 mm. High-resolution parts fit within 247 x 245 x 254 mm. Larger models can be printed in sections and bonded, so size is rarely a limit.
We offer 30+ resins. ABS-like (white, grey, black), PC-like high temp, ceramic-like for high stiffness, clear and translucent for lenses and light pipes, plus tough and flexible grades. Each resin copies the look and feel of a molded plastic.
Yes. We print clear and translucent resin and then polish and coat it to reach high clarity. This is a common choice for light pipes, lenses, fluid-flow models, and see-through covers.
Upload your 3D CAD files and tell us your material, quantity, and finish needs. Most quotes come back within a few hours on business days, and never more than 24 hours. Every quote includes free DFM feedback.
We prefer STEP (.stp, .step) or IGES (.igs, .iges) files for clean geometry. We also accept SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo/ProE, Parasolid (.x_t), and STL files. 2D PDF or DWG drawings are welcome for tolerances and notes.
There is no strict MOQ. We print one part or thousands. Because there is no tooling cost, small batches and one-off parts are affordable.
Simple parts ship in as little as 1 to 3 business days. Most orders ship within 3 to 5 business days. We confirm the exact date in your quote.
Yes. All customer files and ideas are treated as confidential. We sign NDAs when needed and never share your data.
Yes. Our engineers review your design and suggest changes that cut cost, improve quality, or speed up delivery. You get the report before you order.
